Q. Are your programs environmentally responsible?
A. We have always been committed to providing the most responsible lawn care while giving quality results.
All our programs include our unique blend of natural fertilizers and products. All of them are safe for
children, pets and wildlife.
Q. What results can I expect?
A. Results may not be as quick as they were with the old synthetic products, however, over time results will be
similar. You may have a few more weeds than you are used to but you will also have a thick, healthy green
lawn.
Q. How long have you been in business?
A. We personally started our company in the 1970’s after amalgamating with an older company which started in
1956. We are a local, family owned company with an interest in our community. Most of our business comes
from referrals.
Q. How often should I cut my lawn?
A. Usually once a week is enough, but it does depend on how fast it is growing. Cut leaving 2 ½ -3 inches of
grass blade. Not more than 1/3 of the grass blade should be cut off each time you mow. Improper cutting
( either too short or too long) puts stress on the lawn. This allows pests and weeds. Make sure that the
blade on your mower is sharp and leave the clippings on the lawn.
Q. How often should I water my lawn?
A. Water with 1-2 inches of water, 1-2 Times per week during dry weather. Too much watering will not promote
a deep root system. The best time to water is in the morning before 10:00 am. Night watering is not
recommended as it encourages disease.
Q. When can I…. put my dog out/ cut the grass/ water the lawn/ after my lawn has been serviced?
A. At each visit we will leave a note with instructions which should answer all your questions. If you are
still not sure please give us a call, we’d be happy to speak with you
